Nairobi traffic roads are so clear now, traffic, it is fun to drive. One can leave for work anytime and be in the office in the same time it would take on a Saturday. The only jams in Nairobi this week are caused by matatu’s that stop in the middle of the road, shoppers (e.g. Westlands) and sometimes cops.
Truth is, Nairobi roads are currently handling the volume of traffic that they were intended for - and for 11 months of the year, our infrastructure is over-taxed. We need those bypasses and access roads to be built.
The Westlands roundabout is undergoing some major renovation now. However I feel that they must expand the road to Sarit Center for jams to disappear from the roundabout.
