I doubt very much that KENGEN should be awarded for best African IPO, mostly because its share price has tumbled, but more fundamentally because it has been generally expressed that KENGEN promoted its IPO based on the rushed assumption that it would get a better pricing on the electricity it sells to KPLC.
The fact that the Government has now suspended any further sale of KENGEN shares is an admission that KENGEN does not deserve this award.

I really look forward to Virgin's atlantic entry into Kenya...and to the reduced airfares to London.

It is hoped that Virgin shall consider using Nairobi as a connection hub into other African routes as well.

Pseudo-Independent: likewise

NCRWCC: The initial Kengen offer was ok, but the main shareholder did not honor an obligation and changed goalposts after which
affected the share performance afterwards.
- Virgin should do ok, maybe connect with SA and Nigeria
