Subject : Google AdSense Account Disabled
Hello _____
It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on the Google ads on your site(s). We have therefore disabled your Google AdSense account. Please understand that this step was taken in an effort to protect the interest of the AdWords advertisers.
A publisher's site may not have invalid clicks on any ad(s), including but not limited to clicks generated by:
- a publisher on his own web pages
- a publisher encouraging others to click on his ads
- automated clicking programs or any other deceptive software
- a publisher altering any portion of the ad code or changing the
layout, behavior, targeting, or delivery of ads for any reason
Practices such as these are in violation of the Google AdSense Terms and Conditions and program polices, which can be viewed at:
https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms?hl=en_US
https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US
Publishers disabled for invalid click activity are not allowed further participation in AdSense and do not receive any further payment. The earnings on your account will be properly returned to the affected advertisers.
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team
I immediately appealed by e-mailing Google, and as I await the outome, I today found this very timely and useful post from Problogger on reasons one can get suspended by the Adsense team.

What!
Had seen an opportunity to make bucks! Kumbe there was a catch!!
Very controlling that! Now google is telling you what to click and what not to click in your own house, leave alone your backyard?! aayi!
Woiye pole sana Banks but hope they feel your appeal..
Was considering to put one but am thinking
I want to hope they will come to their senses regarding your situation. Keep up with your great work! BTW, my website's address has changed kidogo to wordpress.
This is expected! Google has just settled an out of court class action suit against a group of customers who were complaining that Google themselves were creating "artificial" clicks. I am also a Google customer and received an email from the group, and the claims go as far back as 2002. The fund for settlemnt totals $90million! We have been awarded either money based on the number of clicks on our website, or a 50% repbate going forward. We have to register by 11 June 2006.
Anonymous: Searching through other sites, suspensions seems to happen frequently
AK: Their terms are strict
Nakeel: Thanks, am optimistic about appeal
Kenyananalyst: Will do a blanket update later this week of links
dropmyload: I just want my dues and to resume the program since I can't see how I misbehaved
Google better see the light. I'm sure you are entitled to evidence of whatever it is that they are accusing you of. Good luck with it.
@DropMyLoad... really? About a 90M settlement? Where could we find that information?
how now'06 KM. That is so unfair after doind all that publicity for them ebut hey pay up, they are beginning to get sneaky. Not earned not a single dime imagine tsk tsk tsk 7100 nice....
Mimmz: No evidence offered, but they are satisfied with what they have
gishungwa: Thanks, but their decision final, so will look for other companies, preferably local, for future advertsing.
Wangu: Thanks. Grand final earnign were 7,000. Will look for some local advertisers soon.
Adsense isn't my main earner anymore, but I still consistantly get about $250/month so it covers a few bills. Never had a problem with getting an account disabled, but there again I have never clicked my own ads.
If you do click your own ads, do expect to get banned with no explanation and no further payments. It IS totally fair as it is in the T&Cs - read them.
Anyway not to worry there are tons of better ways to earn money:)
