There is somethin...Good people, please help me out.
There is something I don't get. KRA is collecting land rent and City council is collecting land rates. Is an owner of a piece of land in Nairobi municipality supposed to pay both or only land rates? I have bought a piece of land in Embakasi and the previous owner only paid land rates. Will I be hit with a penalty for unpaid land rent?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9317825.post-1167072646523396942006-12-25T21:50:00.000+03:002006-12-25T21:50:00.000+03:00A single collection agency would be far better!A single collection agency would be far better!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9317825.post-1166804177642537082006-12-22T19:16:00.000+03:002006-12-22T19:16:00.000+03:00Its great, people holding onto prime property in th...Its great, people holding onto prime property in the city that they cant develop or pay rates for.
will have to sell/develop it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9317825.post-1166713562586606532006-12-21T18:06:00.000+03:002006-12-21T18:06:00.000+03:00A single collection agency is far better than the ...A single collection agency is far better than the current set-up.

The KRA needs to increase collection points.
