Aren't we all, at least in terms of lip-service, supposed to be promoting responsible corporate spending?E-Nycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11702951992655517234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9317825.post-84088084361901192542009-07-04T02:19:51.542+03:002009-07-04T02:19:51.542+03:00You and I have to agree to disagree regarding SWAG...You and I have to agree to disagree regarding SWAG. I am set against SWAG. What a waste.

Cheques are NOT free. You are a banker & you know that most banks (& registrars) will charge for each dividend cheque. So whether EFT or cheque... there is no free lunch.

Nothing about being 'cold'... I doubt Safaricom (not GoK in the runup to the elections) would have pushed for so many shareholders.

My favorite remains City Trust. No swag, no lunch, no sodas... ask your questions (enough time provided), vote on resolutions and leave...coldtuskerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11310224592572460759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9317825.post-53183614430893445882009-07-03T14:34:36.278+03:002009-07-03T14:34:36.278+03:00I think it would be un wise if Safaricom spent all...I think it would be un wise if Safaricom spent all that money just for a 1 day event Infact they should instead re-invest the money into the company. Their decission to use the available resources so as to cut costs related to the AGM is very wise no wonder Safaricom is always at the top. Other Companys should emulate Safaricom if they want to get to the top.Chegepreneurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17085854231108448600noreply@blogger.com
